Basic Touch Panel Operations
Use the touch pen to perform the touch panel operations.
Operation
Touch
Simply tap the touch panel.
Long touch
Touch and keep your finger
on the touch panel.
Slide
Touch and keep your finger
on the touch panel and move
it up, down, right or left.
Quick slide
Quickly slide your finger up,
down, right or left and then
lift it off from the touch panel.

Main Operation
Select/OK
⿠Touch an item or control key on the
touch panel.
Move the cursor or highlighted item on
the touch panel
⿠Touch an item long on the list, etc.
Continuous operation
⿠Touch a control key long for fast
forward, etc.
Scroll
⿠Slide an item on the list, etc.
Display the previous or next data
⿠You can use the "Slide" operation to
display the previous or next data/page,
etc.
Scroll
⿠On some displays, scrolling continues
for a while even after you lift your
finger up. To stop scrolling, touch the
panel while scrolling.
Display the previous or next data
⿠You can use the "Quick slide"
operation to display the previous or
next data/page, etc.
■Control key
Whereas in Normal Style
you perform command
navigation key operations, dial
key operations or Submenu
operations, in Viewer Style you
can perform the equivalent
operations by touching (long
touch) the control keys.
■Slide lever
By adjusting the position of
the slide lever, you can set the
volume level, etc.
■Magnification/Reduction
You can zoom in or out the
pictures displayed in the Picture
Album and sites displayed in the
Full Browser.
⿠Position and type of control keys and slide levers depend
on the functions.
