• Push the small lever (69,
into its original position.
• Press any key of the control panel to reposition
the print head and make the printer ready to
operate.
Caution!
If no key is pressed, the print head will
close automatically 150 seconds after
opening to prevent it from drying out.
An acoustic signal (5 beeps) will
sound after 120 seconds, after which
the final 30 seconds will be counted
down on the display.
• Push the safety catch (86) forwards (open), so
that the cleaning cartridge can be removed
(Fig.
40).
• Pull the cleaning cartridge (64) approx. 3 cm
out of the instrument, retighten the red cap
(85), then remove the cartridge completely.
(Fig.
41).
• The activation of a sensor in the cartridge slot
blocks all functions so that no air is sucked into
the ink system.
The "Ink Empty" indicator LED
lights up and remains on.
• Store the removed cleaning cartridge in a
sealed container. The cartridge is full and can
be used twice more to clean the print head.
The expiration date can be found on the red
label.
