The optical interfaces which have HAZARD LEVEL 3A (see Table 61. on page 593) and operate at 2
window, carry the following explanatory label (a multilanguage label kit is also provided):
LASER RADIATION WHEN OPEN
DO NOT STARE INTO BEAM OR VIEW
DIRECTLY WITH OPTICAL INSTRUMENTS
The label is affixed on the fibre protection cover of the following ports:
STM–1 PORT with L–1.1 interface (P4E4N, P4S1N units or A2S1 adapter – affixed by the
customer)
STM–4 PORT with L–4.1 interface
STM–16 PORT with L–16.1 interface
