Explanation/Detection sequence
(Small LCD)
The spectrophotometer up-down unit
upper detection sensor won't respond when
a predefined pulse is sent to the
spectrophotometer up-down unit motor.
When a predefined pulse is sent to the
spectrophotometer up-down unit motor,
the spectrophotometer up-down unit lower
detection sensor in spectrophotometer unit
won't respond.
Media dry fan won't return signals.
Embedded FlashROM read/ write error
Spectrophotometer EEPROM read/write
error
Write/read error at RAM check
Firmware update failed.
Initialization after power on of CPU at
spectrophotometer unit side failed.
Failed self-testing.
Indication at ink priming error in both
subtanks.
Call for Service. Indication at ink priming error in the left
HW1 error subtank.

switch remains OFF.
No signal retuned from backing plate.
The signal from the backing plate is
beyond threshold.
Spectrophotometer top cover open/closed
detection sensor won't respond.

down unit motor.
2. Replace spectrophotometer up-
down unit upper detection sensor.
3. Re-install delivery guide.
