To reset Device Address via SIMATIC PDM:
• Open the project in Process Device Network View then right-click on the
device.
• Go to Object Properties > Connection to access the field Short Address.
Note: SIMATIC PDM only allows addresses 0-15.

5.2. Remote Lockout

Enables/disables the read/write access to parameters via remote communications. If
locked via the handheld programmer, it can be unlocked only via the handheld
programmer. If locked via AMS, it can be reset via AMS.

Note: Default settings in the parameter tables are indicated with an asterisk (*)
unless explicitly stated.

6.1. Write Protection

Prevents any changes to parameters.
Options
• To turn Lock On, key in any value other than the Unlock Value 2457.
• To turn Lock Off, key in the Unlock Value 2457.

7. Language

Selects the language to be used on the LCD.
