VACUUM CLEANER DISASSEMBLY
Before attempting disassembly, carefully read this service manual and the
product's operation manual.
Disassembly of 1600 vacuums

Disassembly should be performed on a table covered with clean felt or other soft
material, taking care not to scratch the plastic parts. Set the vacuum cleaner on the table:
 Release the container catch 9 and open the container 1, remove the bag from the
container.
 Use a thin rod to knock the two container axles 24 out of the container and remove the
container 1 from the body 2.
 Remove screws 102 and 103 and remove the gasket frame 10 from the container, along
with the container gasket 20. Remove the container gasket 20 from the gasket frame 10.
 Insert a thin screwdriver into the gap between the container 1 and the interlock 11 (fig. 1)
and bend out two visible catches z1, simultaneously pulling the container catch 9 towards
you.
 Remove the container catch 9 with interlock 11 and spring 23 from the container.
Remove the interlock and the spring from the catch.
 Remove screw 105, then release the two spring catches and slide the container casket
out 15.
 Remove the cover 16 from the container casket by releasing the two spring catches.
 After removing the cover, slide two springs 40 out of their sockets. Unscrew two screws
106 from the container and pull out the front strip 14.
 Remove screw 104, remove the washer 101 and the front wheel support 29 from the
container's 1 sleeve.
 Bend out the support's catches 29 to remove the front wheel 30. Proceed similarly with
the second wheel.
 Open the accessories cover 8 and pull it back while lifting its axle over the ribs of the
body and releasing its catches. Remove the accessories.
 Simultaneously push both catches on the filter cover 7 to open it and remove it from the
body 2. Remove the outlet filter 37 from the outlet.
 Remove four screws 102 mounting the plate 3 by pulling it away from the body until it
automatically releases from the catches. Before setting the plate aside remember to
