These sound fields cannot be selected when:
—the system is in standby for recording or
recording.
—Game Mixing is activated.
—Key Control is activated.
—Karaoke mode is used.
—a microphone is connected.
—the DVD power manage setting is set to
"DVD POWER OFF" and "TUNER" is
selected as the function.
SBS MULTI (Sound Broadcasting System
Multi mode): Performs suitable decoding based
on the source to maximize the sound field effect.
This mode lets you enjoy audio playback of all
types of discs from multiple speakers.
A.F.D. AUTO (Auto Format Direct Auto):
During DVD function, when 2 channel sources
such as audio CD, VIDEO CD and MP3 audio
tracks are played back, only 2 sound channels
would be output. However, the number of sound
channels output during DVD playback would
depend on the audio format selection. During
other functions, the system would only output 2
sound channels. This setting is ideal when you
want to listen to the original sound from the
source.
