Viewing information
about the disc in the
on-screen display
You can check the elapsed playing time and
remaining time of the current title, chapter, or
track, and the total playing time of the disc.
You can also check the DVD-TEXT,
CD-TEXT, disc title, album title, track title, file
title and ID3 tag recorded on the disc.

Press DVD DISPLAY during playback.
The Control Menu appears on the on-screen
display.

Press DISPLAY repeatedly to change
the time information.
The kinds of time display that you can
change depend on the disc you are playing.

To turn off the Control Menu
Press DVD DISPLAY repeatedly until the
Control Menu disappears.
Note
• Only alphabet letters, numbers and some symbols
can be displayed.
• Depending on the type of disc being played back, the
system can only display a limited number of
characters. Depending on the disc, not all text
characters are displayed.
• With formats other than ISO 9660 Level 1 and Level
2, album title or track title may not be displayed
correctly.
