Tape – Play

Loading a tape

Press A Z or Z B on the unit.

Load a tape in deck A or B.
With the side
you want to
play/record
facing forward.

Playing a tape

You can use TYPE I (normal) tape.

Load a tape.

Press FUNCTION +/– (or FUNCTION on
the unit) repeatedly until "TAPE A" or
"TAPE B" appears in the display.

Press DIRECTION on the unit
repeatedly to select "g" to play one
side, "j" to play both sides or
"RELAY" (Relay Play)* to play both
decks in succession.

Press nN (or H on the unit).
The tape starts playing.

play the reverse side.

Stop playback
Press X.
Pause playback
Press again to resume playback.
Press m or M (or .m or
Fast-forward or
rewind M > on the unit when
playback is stopped).

Switch to TAPE Press
A or TAPE B (Automatic Source Selection).
