Tape – Play

Loading a tape

Slide the lid open with your hand.

Insert a tape.
With the side
you want to
play/record
facing up
To remove the tape, lift up the tape from the
side as shown in the illustration.

Slide the lid close with your hand.

Playing a tape

You can use TYPE I (normal).

Press FUNCTION +/– repeatedly until
"TAPE" appears.

Press DIRECTION repeatedly to select
"g" to play one side of the tape.

Select "h " to play both sides, or

"j " to play both sides repeatedly.

Press nN (or TAPE/hH on the
unit).
Press nN (or TAPE/hH on the unit)
again to play the reverse side.

Press X. Press again to resume
Pause
play.
Press m/M.
Fast-forward or
rewind
Remove a tape Slide the lid open on the unit in
stop mode.
* The tape deck stops automatically after repeating the
sequence 5 times.
Note
The AMS function may not operate correctly under the
following circumstances:
– When the unrecorded space between songs is less
than 4 seconds long.
– When the system is placed near a television.
