Changing the gear oil
Warning
Danger of scalding Engine and gear oil get very hot when the motorcycle is ridden.

Wear suitable protective clothing and safety gloves.
–
In the event of scalding, rinse the area affected immediately with lukewarm water.

Environmental hazard Hazardous substances cause environmental damage.

Dispose of oils, grease, filters, fuel, cleaning agents, brake fluid, etc., correctly and in compliance with the applicable
regulations.

Drain the gear oil while the engine is at operating temperature.
Main work
(All 125/150 models)
–
Remove gear oil monitoring screw
–
Check the gear oil level.
A small quantity of gear oil must run out of the drilled hole.

If no gear oil runs out:
–
–
Mount and tighten the gear oil monitoring screw.

Detach the foot brake lever spring.
–
Remove gear oil monitoring screw
–
Check the gear oil level.
A small quantity of gear oil must run out of the drilled hole.

Mount and tighten the gear oil monitoring screw.

Remove the engine guard. (

Park the motorcycle on a level surface.

Place a suitable container under the engine.
Main work

Remove gear oil drain plug
–
Remove gear oil drain plug
–
Let the gear oil drain fully.
–
Thoroughly clean the gear oil drain plug.
–
Clean the sealing surface on the engine.
–
Mount and tighten gear oil drain plug
