Cause
The power supply is not connected.
The boundary wire is not connected to the
charging station
Boundary wire broken.
The boundary wire is laid in the wrong direction
around an island.
The connection between the robotic lawnmow-
er and the charging station has been broken.
Disturbances from metal objects (fences, rein-
forcement steel) or buried cables close by.
The robotic lawnmower has got caught in
something.
The robotic lawnmower is stuck behind a num-
ber of obstacles.
The boundary wire connections to the charging
station are crossed.
The boundary wire is too close to the edge of
the working area.
The working area slopes too much.
The boundary wire is laid in the wrong direction
around an island.
Disturbances from metal objects (fences, rein-
forcement steel) or buried cables close by.
The robotic lawnmower finds it hard to distin-
guish the signal from another robotic lawnmow-
er installation close by.
Action
Check the wall socket connection and whether
an earth-fault breaker has tripped or not. Check
that the low voltage cable is connected to the
charging station.
Check that the boundary wire connector is fit-
ted properly to the charging station. See
necting the boundary wire on page 18 .
Find out where the break is. Replace the dam-
aged section of the loop with a new loop wire
and splice using an original coupler. See
ing breaks in the loop wire on page 43 .
Check that the boundary wire has been laid ac-
cording to the instructions in
the working area on page 15 .
Place the robotic lawnmower in the charging
station and generate a new loop signal via
curity -> New loop signal .
Try moving the boundary wire.
Free the robotic lawnmower and rectify the rea-
son for it becoming trapped.
Check if there are any obstacles which make it
hard for the robotic lawnmower to move on
from this place.
Check that the boundary wire is connected cor-
rectly.
Check that the boundary wire has been laid ac-
cording to the instructions in
page 13 .
Try moving the boundary wire.
Place the robotic lawnmower in the charging
station and generate a new loop signal via
curity -> New loop signal .
