7) Remove the Developing Assembly. (See
"Removing the Developing Assembly.")
8) Open the copier's top unit further, and fix
it in position using the grip of a screw-
driver or the like (30 mm dia.).

9) Remove the two fixing screws @ for the
scanner drive motor.

10) Frees the copiers top unit by removing
the screwdriver, and install the spring
and the sub hinge mount, and close the
upper frame unit.
11) Remove the E-ring 8, and lift the cable
drive pulley @ slightly to remove the
scanner drive motor 0.
