9) Make a copy, and make sure that it is
free of fogging yet its text is dark
enough.

If the copy is foggy or the text density
is too light, repeat starting with step 1).

If no change is noted in the results
after re-adjustment, make further
adjustments using the density correc-
tion dial (VR107).

4. Leading Edge Non-Image Width
Make this adjustment 'whenever you
have replaced the following:
. DC controller PCB
Make sure that the leading edge non-
image width is 2.0 +1.5 mm when the Test
Chart is copied.

1) Select '31' in service mode; then, using
the +/- key, change the setting in the
count/ratio indicator, and press the AE
key.i

The setting may be between 0 and 99.

The default is 32.
