Axis designation
for axis IV
90
The axis designation
for axis I\/ is determined
with parameter 90. The selection of designation A, B or C
determines whether the axis is to be used for control or display of a rotary axis. In this case, the axis is
relieved of mm/inch switchover
and can operate with another in linear interpolation
without
tool radius
compensation.
If U, V or W are selected, the axis is then programmed
as an additional
linear axis, it can also be
used with mm/inch
and can operate with one of the other axes in linear or circular interpolation
with tool
radius compensation.
