Mounting Bracket
1. Secure mounting bracket to desired mounting surface using one of the following
methods:
three (3) # 6 screws
l
cable ties of 0.19" wide (4.75 mm)
l
double-sided tape
l
2. Insert device into mounting bracket with the connector end at the mount opening. The
device can be inserted label side up or down. Take care to position the device so that
the label side has the best unobstructed path to the sky.
3. Connect the device to the power source.
Cable Ties
Insert the cable ties into the cable tie openings and secure the device. The recommended
cable tie size is 0.19" wide (4.75mm).
Double-Sided Tape
If securing the device using double-sided tape or a method not described in this manual, note
the following precautions:
Excessive force in the middle of the device may cause damage to the device.

If using rigid mounting hardware, apply pressure only to the ends of the device. Limit
l
the mounting pressure only to the amount needed to secure the device.

Device Orientation

The device orientation is set with respect to the vehicle body by the AT$ACCORN command.
