decreased to avoid sudden, overloaded (or painful) muscle contraction. After the position is
acquired the intensities on the muscles pressured against the floor should be increased to
the desired level gradually.
The intensities of the muscle groups can only be set during the impulse periods, not in the
breaks.
The client's consent form must be signed prior to training.
Turning off the machine during training is not advised because in some cases discharge
voltage can be felt. It is not dangerous; however, some people can feel badly. If you would
like to turn off the machine during training, first push the stop button, and then unplug the
clip which connects you and the machine.

Adverse Reactions

Headache can be felt if the training intensity was too high.
Headache or dizziness can appear if the client did not consume enough water or breathing
was held during the training. Water consumption is extremely important after the training.
The EMS training can result in unexpected and long muscle strain since it provides high
intensity training for almost all of the major muscle groups.
The blood CK (Creatine Kinase) value can be much higher than normal even after 7-9 days
after training. This is a normal reaction of the human body that occurs after high intensity
trainings (especially after EMS trainings)
