8. If applicable, do the following:
Discharge if inactive (Patients maintenance)—Enter the number of days
after which patients without transactions are discharged from the facility.
Set this value greater than or equal to the activities hold time set at the
Devices dialog box.
Inactivity notification (Users maintenance)—Enter the number of days
after which a service message is logged for users who have not performed
any transactions. To review a list of service messages, run the Service
Messages report. If a service message is listed that indicates a specific
number of users have been inactive for a specific number of days, you can
then run the Users report using the User Last Access parameter to produce
a detailed list of inactive users. (For more information, refer to the Pyxis
MedStation 4000 System Console Reports Booklet.)

Running a maintenance task

Rather than waiting for the scheduled time for a particular maintenance task, you
can choose to run it immediately.
NOTE
Do not change the Maintenance options without assistance from a CareFusion
representative.
To run a maintenance task
1. Select
System Setup > Site Specific Options
2. In the Site Information dialog box, click the

The Sources page allows you to provide an alias for the console. This alias name
