10.1.3.
Heating Fault (3
The water temperature in the machine is measured by an NTC (negative temperature
coefficient). NTC is simply a resistance value dependent on temperature. At the Heating step, if
the temperature rise is less than 1 °C within 3 minutes heating fault occurs. When the fault
detected software skips the heating step and continues the program with the next step.
Possible Causes:
a. Malfunction of Heater
b. Crack on the connection lines between electronics and heater
c. Malfunction of RL1 relay on the electronic board
d. Too less water inside the machine
10.1.4.
No Water and Counter Fault (2
Incoming water to the machine is monitored via a water counter system. Water counter
generates electronic pulses at the rate of 400 pulse / lt. During the "Water Inlet" step (for any
program including functional test) if no pulses could be sensed by the electronics within a one
minute, No Water condition occurs. At this condition the electronics saved the error to the
EEPROM. And then continue to check counter error. Then, the electronics closes all outputs for 8
minutes and then drives the Water Inlet valve for 15 seconds. Then checks the pulses from the
counter. If received pulses exceed 0.6 lt/0.16 galon, then the machine is run in normal operation,
otherwise the loop of '8 min close all output – 15sec Water Inlet Valve ON'. will continue for 7
times (approximately for one hour). After one hour, if no pulses will not be sensed by the
electronics, then the machines will stop, and wait in pause position. At this condition the
electronics saved the error to the EEPROM.
Possible Causes:
a. Malfunction of Water Inlet Valve
b. Malfunction of Water Counter
c. Crack on the connection lines between the electronics and water inlet valve
d. Crack on the connection lines between the electronics and water counter
10.1.5.
Uninterruptible Water Inlet Error (1
The electronics of the machine monitors water counter pulses at every step of the washing
program. If pulses received from the counter at any step other than Water-Inlet, and if the received
pulses exceed 0.6 lt/0.16 galon of water, Uninterruptible Water Inlet Error occurs. When the fault
detected, software drives the drain pump with 1 minute intervals (1 min ON, 1 min. OFF). During
this interval if counter pulses stop, software continues with the selected program.
Possible Causes:
a. Malfunction of Water-Inlet Valve (stuck as open)
b. Malfunction of T7 triac on the electronic board
Please note again that faulty conditions can be detected at any program and corrective actions are
taken. The error code is saved in the memory and can ONLY be seen at the beginning of the
Functional Test. Detection of Faulty Conditions are NOT dedicated to Functional Test Program
only.
