9. Component Principle

9.1.

Heater (Thermostat And Thermic Fuse)

It is used for heating the water inside the dishwasher. It consists of a heater which is enclosed by
a stainless steel. There is a thermostat and thermic fuse which run in the case of overheating.
The heater is driven by 10A/110 V relay.
resistance between the terminals of the heater is measured when the multimeter is in the position
as shown in the figure. It is compared with the values above.
9.2.

Drain Motor

It is the 1 phase synchronous motor which is used for draining the water inside the dishwasher.
Locked rotor impedance protected status, and types are available with thermal overload
protection against overheating.
In order to control drain motor, the resistance is measured when the multimeter is in the position
as shown in the figure .It is compared with the values above.
