Removing the canister

1. Disconnect the vapor gas hoses "1" and
"2".
2. Remove the spark plug wires from the
holders.
3. Remove the vapor gas hose "3" from the
holders "4".

4. Disconnect the vapor gas hoses "1" and
"2".
5. Remove the bracket "3" and canister "4".

Removing the vapor shut-off valve

1. Disconnect the vapor shut-of valve cou-
pler "a".
2. Disconnect the vapor gas hoses "1" and
"2".

3. Remove the vapor shut-of valve "1".
4. Disconnect the vapor gas hoses "1".

Checking the canister

1. Check the canister. Replace if cracked.
2. Connect the special service tool "1" to
the atmospheric port "a" and block the
other ports using rubber plugs "b".
3. Apply positive pressure and check that
air comes out of the opposite end of the
canister check valve. Replace the canis-
ter check valve if no air comes out.
