Mounting with a stilling well

The stilling well diameter that is required to protect the measuring wire without disturbing its opera-
tion varies depending on the tank height. The stilling well could either be of constant diameter, or nar-
rower at its upper part and wider at its lower part. The following figure shows two examples of the lat-
ter case, namely a concentric stilling well and an asymmetric stilling well.
