During pumping, water is pumped to the drainage hose via the
drainage channel of the heat exchanger / water inlet.
A continuous water flow occurs. If the drainage is lower than the
appliance, the water flows out of the appliance by suction effect even
if the drain pump is no longer actuated.
In the float chamber there is so much water that the float floats and
the ventilation opening closes.
The ventilation opening is released by the float as soon as the water
flow in the water outlet decreases. The appliance cannot be drained
while the liquor pump is deactivated as air can flow in via the
ventilation opening.
If the drainage hose is defective (blockage, kink), pressure builds up.
Electronics detects the blockage over by drain pump
An error code is saved in the failure memory.
