12.11Logging

Navigation: Administration > Projects > Project Gama (selected project) > GamaRouter (selected device) >
Services > Logging
Here you define the logging options.
To change the settings, click on the Edit button
Designation
Output Debug Information
to Logging Server

Activate External Logging
Server
Remote IPAddress Enter the IP address of the external logging server here.
Remote Port
Changes in the portal, which concern the device, will take effect after the Portal configuration has been
transferred to the device.
If the device configuration is out of date, this is indicated by a gray LED symbol before the device name
.
Checkbox for activating/deactivating Debug mode for various logging functions. This func-
tion allows extended logging.
Checkbox for activating/deactivating the additional output of the logging. This is output
solely to the USB stick that is connected to the device (file name of the logging file: "Device
name.log").
Checkbox for activating/deactivating the additional output of the system logging. Using an
external logging server, the device system logging can be can be outsourced to another
computer.
Enter the port of the external logging server here. Port 514 is preset here. We recommend
that you do not change this port, unless you are using a certain application that reacts to a
different port.
