4) Einstellung des Positionsgebers (Das Einstellverfahren für SC-500 und SC-510 ist gleich.)
WARNUNG:
Um mögliche Hand- oder Fingerverletzungen durch plötzliches Anlaufen der Maschine während der Einstellung zu
verhüten, führen Sie die Einstellung der Stoppposition unter dem Funktionseinstellungsmodus durch.
[Einstellverfahren]
¡ Einstellen der Tiefstellung
1. Das Handrad drehen, um die Tiefstellung der Nadel auf die Position einzustellen, an der das obere Ende B des
Greifers die Schleife A des linken Nadelfadens erfasst. (Siehe Abb. 1.)
2. Die Schraube 1 an der Positionsgeberabdeckung lösen und entfernen.
3. Die Schraube 4 am oberen Ende des Positionsgebers mit einem Schraubenzieher um 1/2 Umdrehung lösen, um
die Erkennungsplatte leicht von Hand zu drehen.
4. Die Erkennungsplatte 2 (zum Einstellen der Tiefstellung) auf der Vorderseite des Nähmaschinen-Handrads in
Drehrichtung der Nähmaschine (im Uhrzeigersinn) drehen, bis die LED 5 von D aufleuchtet, und so einstellen,
dass sie sich nahe der Mitte des Leuchtbereichs der LED befindet. Die Schraube 4 am oberen Ende des Schafts
nach der Einstellung provisorisch anziehen.

5. Adjust the machine head to the position where mark 8
on the handwheel aligns with mark 7 on the machine
head side.
6. Loosen screw 4 at the top of the shaft which has been
temporarily tightened. Turn clockwise detecting plate 3
(for adjusting UP position) located on this side, find a
position where LED 6 of U lights up, and adjust the
detecting plate so that it is near the center of the lighting
range of LED.
Note : At this time, securely press the handwheel by
hand so that the detecting plate located on DOWN
position which has been adjusted in steps 1 to 4 does
not move.
7. Through the aforementioned steps, the adjustment of
UP position and DOWN position is completed. Securely
tighten the screw 4 at the top of the shaft.
8. After the adjustment, be sure to install the cover.
When using the synchronizer as UP/DOWN
stop position type without using the thread
trimmer device, change the setting of the
function setting No. 74 to "1 (thread

trimming) / 0 (UP/DOWN position)". (Setting
procedure of both SC-500 and SC-510 is
common.) Thread trimmer safety device
error occurs unless the setting is changed,
and it is impossible to operate the sewing
machine. So, be careful.
