2.5.6 Disk drive motor and endless belt
Disassembly procedure
1) Remove the main board set. (Refer to 2.5.1 )
2) Remove the sub-frame unit. (Refer to 2.5.3)

Remove the disk drive motor fixing screws.

4) Remove the slide shaft B holder fixing screw, and
take off the slide shaft B holder from the VCM
unit. (Fig. 2-40)
5) Remove the endless belt. Remove the disk drive
motor from the main unit.
6) Route the cable connecting the index detector B
and write protect detector board pass under the
eject lock lever.
