Disassembly procedure
1. Discharge through a resistor of about 25 MD in-
serted between the anode cap terminal and GND
(ground frame).

•. High voltage is applied to the CRT. Keep this in
mind and take care.

2. Disconnect the cable connectors (2) coming from
the DY (deflection yoke) shown in Fig. 2-19 from
the board.
3. Disconnect the grounding wire connector coming
from the middle of the wire which makes connec-
tion between the CRT fixing screws 2 and 3, from
the board.
4. Remove the socket shown in Fig. 2.19.
5. Remove four screws 1 - 4 shown in fig. 2-19.

• Carry out above procedure in reverse for reassem-
bly.
