Installation procedure

WARNING!
• Only switches that have blind nuts in the bottom support magnet mounting. To avoid switch falloff
and bodily injury, do not magnet-mount the switch that does not have blind nuts in the bottom.
• To avoid bodily injury and device damage, put the switch at a stable place free from vibrations or
shocks.
• Avoid installing the switch at a high place because bodily injury or equipment damage might
occur in case of a falloff.
• Make sure the weight of external cables does not bring about a falloff, which might result in bodily
injury or equipment damage.
CAUTION:
• Select the installation location carefully. In case of poor installation surface, magnet mounting
might not be reliable.
• Avoid frequently moving the desk-mounted switch because such movements might damage the
surface coating.
• To install the device vertically, keep the front panel of the switch facing downwards and the two
sides with ventilation holes vertical to the ground.
• Keep magnetic cards away from magnets to avoid erasure of any information.
• Keep computers and monitors that are easily influenced by magnetic fields away from magnets
to avoid failures of electronic devices.
To magnet-mount the switch:
Remove the rubber feet, if any, from the blind nuts in the chassis bottom.
