The following self-clearing alert messages may be displayed during the CO measurement
process:

Message trigger and when displayed
Blood temperature out of range (High or Low),
displayed when:
•
detected during a CO measurement session.
•
CO start has been selected for manual
mode.
Injectate temperature out of range (high or low),
displayed when:
•
detected during a CO measurement session.
•
detected after CO start has been selected
for manual mode.
No blood temperature change, displayed when:
•
CO start has been selected for manual mode
and no reading is detected in the time-out
period.
Blood temperature transducer unplugged,
displayed when:
•
detected during a CO measurement session.
•
detected after CO start has been selected
for manual mode.
Injectate temperature transducer unplugged,
displayed when:
•
detected during a CO measurement session.
•
detected after CO start has been selected
for manual mode.
Blood temperature transducer fault, displayed
when:
•
detected during a CO measurement session.
•
detected after CO start has been selected
for manual mode.
Injectate temperature transducer fault,
displayed when:

Monitoring and Measurements
Suggested action
Verify correct catheter position.
Verify that injectate volume and temperature
corresponds for the catheter used and that the
computation constant has been entered
correctly.
Check injectate temperature.
Check injectate probe and catheter
probe connection.
Ensure the injectate is injected soon after CO
start has been selected. Reselect Start.
Verify correct catheter position.
Check connections and catheter.
