drive end frame and the rectifier end frame
18.4 After removing the nuts holding the stator assembly to the
end frame, remove the stator
18.6 After removing the screws that attach the regulator and the
resistor (if equipped) to the end frame, remove the brush holder
5 Remove the nuts attaching the diode trio to the rectifier bridge
and remove the trio (see illustration).
6 Remove the screws attaching the resistor (not used on all mod-
els), regulator and brush holder to the end frame and remove the brush
holder (see illustration).
