WARNING:
to secure the Firmware updating procedure disconnect, if any, the PHONE terminal block from the Bit
One plugs.
- Before starting the Bit One update, the sofware will offer
the following warnings:
- do not disconnect "bit one" device, unplug power or
terminate this application during updating process;
- disable standby and energy saving features;
- close all running applications;
- disable anti-virus and anti-spyware systems.
WARNING:
this operation requires a lot of management
and memory consuming resources from your PC
operating system. The above listed precautions will
prevent from any possible undesired interruptions in
the process.
- Once you have clicked on OK, the Bit One Firmware
update starts. The updating process will last from 3 to
5 minutes and the green progressing bar will prove the
update correct processing.
WARNING:
if during the updating process the
progressing bar stops for few seconds, it is normal.
Don't interrupt the process in any way.
- Once the update has been successfully completed the
window you can see on your right will appear. To use
the Bit One again, you have to exit the program on the
PC, turn the Bit One off and re-start it all again.
- When starting it all again, select the TARGET mode
to access the PC software and Bit One normal
functionalities. The Device Info display will show the
installed firmware version on its main screen.
REMARK:
We recommend that you also update the DRC
firmware, if on the website a more updated firmware
version is available for download compared to the one
loaded in your DRC.
WARNING:
after performing the Bit One firmware update,
we recommend that you calibrate the system by
selecting the I/O Configuration Wizard from the Config
menù (see section "FIRST START-UP IN TARGET
MODE OF THE BIT ONE SOFTWARE").
