9. TIRES

[1] TIRE PRESSURE

CAUTION
• Do not attempt mount a tire. This should be done by a qualified person with the proper equipment.
• Always maintain the correct tire pressure.
Do not inflate tires above the recommended pressure as shown below.
IMPORTANT
• Do not use tires larger than specified.
• When you intend to mount different size of tires from equipped ones, consult your distributor about front
drive gear ratio for details.
Excessive wear of tires may occur due to improper gear ratio.
Tire sizes
18 × 8.50 – 8 Turf
Front
18 × 8.50 – 8 Bar
26 × 12.00 – 12 Turf
Rear
26 × 12.00 – 12 Bar
Though the tire pressure is factory-set to the prescribed level, it naturally drops slowly in the course of time.
Thus, check it everyday and inflate as necessary.
NOTE
• Maintain the maximum pressure in front tires, if using a front loader or when equipped with a full load of
front weights.

[2] TREAD

The tread can not be adjusted.
IMPORTANT
• Do not turn discs to obtain wider tread.
• Always attach tires as shown in the drawing.
• If not attached as illustrated, transmission parts may be damaged.
NOTE
• Use the tapered bolts for wheels with beveled or tapered holes.
