ERROR CODE
#15 Waste Tank Full
#16 Poor Barcode Labels
#17 Barcode Error Limit
PROBABLE CAUSE
This error is not used with current
instrument software.
The barcode reader was unable to
read the bar codes because the
label format detected is different
from that selected through the User
Setup Mode.
The number of digits was greater
than 13.
The number of bar code label
non-reads has reached the error
limit specified in the User Setup
mode.

SOLUTION
If more than one format of bar code
labels is used, select 擜uto?as the
Barcode Type in the User Setup
mode.
If more than 13 digits are on the label,
this error will occur.
Record the rack and position numbers
of the tubes for which errors were
recorded. The ID number for these
tubes can be entered through the
Clinitek Atlas keyboard during the End
of Run Review. If non-read errors
persist, do the following:
1.
Clean the window of the bar code
reader with a damp, soft cloth and
retest.
2.
Review the labels to verify they
pass specifications: see Chapter
One Specifications. 3. If labels
pass specifications, test barcode
reader and labels (see paragraph
8-7 on pages 8.8 and 8.9).
4.
Repair, replace or reseat the bar
code reader and all related
electrical cables (see Figure 1 in
Chapter 12):
a.
Bar Code Reader
b.
Connector CN102 or CN103
(whichever one is used)
c.
Mother Board Connector
CN3 or CN4 (whichever one
is used)
d.
CPU PC Board
