SOLUTION
Attempt to clear the rack jam. Verify
instrument is level. Clean the base
(Transfer Plate) with a damp, clean
cloth if the base is wet or dirty. Dry
base, then run unit again. If error
persists, do the following:
1.
If jam always happens with the
same rack, replace rack.
2.
Inspect the Rack Guides for
proper rack clearance (paragraph
8-3, page 8.3).
3.
Run Sensor Monitor test in
Service Mode (see paragraph
7-2-7 on page 7.8).Check sensor
using a rack to activate the
sensor.
4.
If sensor(s) fail Sensor Monitor
test, look for any obstructions on
the 搘indow?of the affected
sensors.
5.
Remove instrument covers and
reseat sensor connector. Then
use a VOM meter to check the
sensor output, see Figure 5,
Schematic page 12.11. Do not
use chassis ground; use an N24V
terminal on terminal strip TB1 in
front of the power supply. Look
for 0 VDC on connector pin 2
(white wire) with a rack at the
sensor and 24 VDC with nothing
at sensor.
6.
If sensor works intermittently,
consider adjusting it (see
paragraph 8-5, page 8.5
7.
Repair, reseat or replace:

The sensor(s)
b.
The Mother Board
