Introduction

5-1-1
This chapter describes routine maintenance done by a customer and preventative maintenance to be
performed by a field engineer while on a service call.
5-2

Routine Maintenance

5-2-1
The Transfer Plate (top steel plate racks travel on) should be cleaned daily with a damp cloth and
mild detergent. Afterwards, dry the plate off with a clean, soft cloth. A dirty Transfer Plate may
queak?loudly during rack transfer and may cause rack jams to occur.
5-2-2
Tube racks should also be cleaned daily by scrubbing them with a soft cloth and mild detergent,
followed by rinsing under water and drying carefully.
Refer to the Operating Manual for all routine general maintenance to perform as a part of
normal operation.
NOTE:

6.
Clean all covers with a soft, clean, damp cloth and mild detergent. Follow-up with a soft, clean,

Lastly, perform a With Tube Run in Service Mode for at least 30 minutes to verify system is
working properly.

See page 7.4 for more information about the Service Mode With Tube Run test.
