Options on this tab configure device specific options. Note that options not available on the MX7 Tecton are dimmed or
grayed out.
CapsLock
By default, CapsLock is off after a warmboot. Check this box to turn CapsLock on after a warmboot.
Touch Screen Disable
By default, the MX7 Tecton touch screen is enabled. To disable the touch screen after a warmboot, tap to put a
checkmark in this check box.
Enable Keypad Backlight
The keypad backlight default setting is to follow the display backlight setting until it is changed by the user.
Tap to remove the checkmark in the check box to disable the keypad backlight.
Backup Batt Low Warn Dialog
By default the warning dialog for a low backup battery is displayed. Uncheck the checkbox to suppress the low
backup battery warning.
This change takes effect after a warmboot.
Power Icon Enable
By default the power icon is enabled and displayed in the system tray area of the taskbar. Uncheck this option to
suppress the power icon.
This change takes effect after a warmboot.
Note: This option only removes the power icon. To suppress the battery charge level icon, use the
