To measure the proper chain tensioning, it is
necessary to check the correspondence of the chain
pin axis (black line in (Fig 275)), within the distance
identified with the cutout on chain tension gage:
interval indicated by the arrows (A) in (Fig 275)
(2.2÷2.3 in- 56÷58 mm).
If chain pins are higher or lower than this interval
(Fig 276), it is necessary to tension the chain page

Have chain tension adjusted by a Ducati Dealer
or Authorized Service Center.
