6.2 Configuring Primary-Standby Mode
To configure the Primary-Standby mode:
Click the Basic > SIP tab.

Step2
From the High availability - Mode drop-down list, select Primary-Standby.
Step3
In the Registrar server field, enter the primary Aeonix server IP address or name.
Step4
Enter the backup Aeonix server IP address in the High availability - Backup SIP proxy field.
Note:This step is required if an IP address is filled in Step2 .
When a domain name is filled in Step2 , you can also fill in a backup IP address. This allows the
device to failover to the backup IP address if the domain name resolution service fails.
Step5
Select Primary server heartbeat detection.
Step6
Configure the OPTIONS request period.
Step7
Click Save.
Step8
Click the Basic > Network tab.
