c) In the IP address box, type the Tadiran TGW gateway IP address.
d) In the Default gateway box, type the default gateways IP address of the network
(LAN gateway IP address where the gateway is located).
e) Click Save.
f) Log in to the gateway using the new IP address.
4. Click the Basic > System tab.

a) In the Codec box, type the required codecs methods to be supported by the gateway.
These codecs must be set due to no default value.
Insert G729 PCMA & PCMU as first codecs.
b) From the Hook – flash handle drop-down list, select internal.
c) From the DTMF transmission method drop-down list, select RFC 2833.
d) In the RFC 2833 payload type box, enter 101.
e) For TGW8-2G:
In the DTMF tone duration box, enter the on time (in ms) of DTMF signal sent from
FXO port. The default value is 100ms. Generally, the duration time should be set in
the range of 80-150 ms.

- In the DTMF interdigit pause box, enter 50 (in ms)
- In the DTMF detection duration box, enter 35 (in ms)
- In the DTMF detection duration increment against talk-off box, enter 16 (in ms)
g) Click Save.
