Other options available for conversion of 16:9 video format:
4:3 TV Pan&Scan Displays full screen and high size, but the left and right sides of the screen are cut.
Combined
Cuts left and right sides of screen to a minor extent and displays black horizontal bars
at upper and lower parts.
SCART Output:
This setting is only relevant when the receiver is connected to the TV set via SCART.
Select RGB for the best picture quality or CVBS if your TV does not support RGB.
HDCP:
Available options: On or Off, please see the note below.
NOTE:
HDCP (High Definition Content Protection) is set to On to default as nowadays all
TV sets with an HDMI connector support HDCP. If you face problems with the HDMI
connection, you can deactivate HDCP, which allows watching via HDMI without
problems. Please consider that movies which are broadcasted with an extra content
protection might not be shown when HDCP is set to Off.
HDMI Audio Output:
Adjust this setting in accordance to the connected audio equipment. Set to Auto for
the most common connections. Set the BitStream option to bypass original audio
bitstream through HDMI to a connected audio equipment which can decode complex
digital audio formats. Set the PCM option to convert complex digital audio formats
supported by the receiver to STEREO audio and pass it to the HDMI output.
SPDIF Audio Output:
Adjust this setting in accordance to the connected audio equipment.
Set the BitStream option to bypass original audio bitstream through S/PDIF to a
connected audio equipment that can decode complex digital audio formats. Set the
PCM option to convert complex digital audio formats supported by the receiver to
STEREO audio and pass it to the S/PDIF output.
OSD Transparency:
Define the transparency of menus and other system information windows. Available
options: Not transparent, 10, 20, ... 50.
Banner Time Out: Define the duration of the info banner display in the viewing mode. Available options:
3 Seconds, 5 Seconds, 7 Seconds and 10 Seconds.
Audio Description: Set this function to On if you want to enable the playback of the audio description: a
narrator will describe what is happening on the screen for blind or visually impaired
viewers
AD Volume Offset: Define the difference between the normal TV broadcast sound and the Audio
description volume.
7.2.3 PIN Code Management
This submenu allows you to control the blocking of certain programmes from unrestricted viewing,
access to certain menu options and usage of the EPG based on parental rating system if supported by
the local broadcast.
Before entering this submenu, you have to enter the correct PIN code. The default value is 0000.
Programme Lock: Select Off or On. The default value is Off. If you select On, you cannot view the locked
channel in the TV Manager submenu without the correct password.
Programme Lock age:
Activates the parental control rate setting.
Available options: All Blocked, 4 years old, 5 years old, ..., 18 years old, Disable (default
value).
