Follow-up Actions
The follow-up actions includes the following:
l
Observe the LED status of the new card. The switching and control card runs properly
if the RUN LED is green and flashing.
l
View whether the switching and control card type is correct and the status is normal
through command lines. The switching and control card runs properly if it is in
INSERVICE status.
l
View whether the card version is correct through the command line. If it is not correct,
download the correct version.
l
Save the existing configuration data.
l
Restore the previous backup configuration data to the system.
l
Query the system alarms, notifications and events. Confirm there is no exceptional
alarms, notifications and events.

Precautions
Pay attention to the following precautions while replacing the service cards:
Replacing the service cards cause causes the interruption of service carried on

the card.
Make an antistatic preparation.

Recommend to replace the card during 00:00 to 05:00 with the minimum traffic.

Be careful to avoid any short circuit caused by metal objects, including misplace

of tools or screws dropped into the shelf.
Make sure that the new switching and control card is intact.

Align the switching and control card to the guide rail and carefully push it in along

Removing the service cards which is loading program may cause the damage on
