Filling the water circuit

NOVELLA series boilers must be fitted with a
water circuit filling system connected to the
boiler return line (fig. 3.8).
- Make sure that the boiler drain cock is
closed before attempting to fill the boiler
(fig. 3.9)
- Open the water circuit shut-off cocks and
slowly fill the circuit until the pressure gauge
reads out a value of 1.5 bar (cold)

- Close the water circuit shut-off cocks (fig.
3.10).

Emptying the water circuit

- Turn the electricity supply off by switching
the boiler's mains power switch and control
panel switch OFF (0) before starting to
empty the boiler (fig. 3.11)
- Make sure that the water circuit shut-off
cocks are closed
- Connect a rubber hose to the hose union on
the boiler's drain cock and open the cock
(fig. 3.12).
