REPLACING THE NOZZLES
Burner nozzles
- Unscrew the two methane nozzles from the
burner and replace them with the LPG noz-
zles. Use the aluminium seals provided in the
kit (fig. 4.17).
Pilot flame nozzle
- Disconnect the pilot flame gas pipe (1) from
the gas valve and from the support plate (2)
(fig. 4.18)
- Carefully remove the pilot flame nozzle (3)
from its housing (4) with the aid of small
screwdriver or similar tool (the nozzle is not
screwed in) and replace it with the LPG noz-
zle supplied in the kit (fig. 4.18).
Disabling the pressure regulator
For the boiler to work with LPG fuel, the pres-
sure regulator on the valve group needs to be
disabled. To do so, proceed as follows:
- Unscrew the screw (D)

- Screw the pressure regulator screw (E) all the
way in
- Replace the plug (D) with the blind plug pro-
vided in the kit
- Unscrew the pressure measurement point
screw (A) about 3 turns and connect up the
pressure gauge.
Pilot flame
- Adjust the regulator (C) until the tip of the
thermocouple is immersed in the pilot flame
(fig. 4.20).
NOZZLE PRESSURE
- Start up the boiler as instructed on pages 19
and 20
- Adjust the pressure regulator on the LPG sup-
ply until the pressure gauge reads out the
value specified on page 7
- Disconnect the pressure gauge and close the
pressure measurement point
- Check the tightness of all the joints discon-
nected previously
- Apply the LPG label supplied with the boiler
to the inside of the boiler casing (fig. 4.21)
