2. BROADCAST SELECTION

How to Tune In The Desired Station

Seek Tuning:
To quickly search for the next receivable
lower station, press the tuning down button
for more than 0.5 seconds.
To quickly search for the next receivable
higher station, press the tuning up button
for more than 0.5 seconds.
Manual Tuning:
Press the tuning up or down button for less
than 0.5 seconds to increase or decrease
the frequency. The frequency of the AM
band changes 9 kHz (or 5 kHz or 10 kHz)
each time you push the button, the fre-
quency of the FM band changes 50 kHz
(or 100 kHz or 200 kHz) each time you
push the button.

Using Preset Buttons:

To select the desired preset station stored
on the preset buttons, press the corre-
sponding preset button for less than 2 sec-
onds.
Preset Scan:
To hear the preset stations stored on the
preset buttons, press the preset scan but-
ton for less than 2 seconds.
For the FM band (FM1 or FM2), all of the
preset stations stored on the preset but-
tons 1 through 6 in the FM1 and FM2 band
will be tuned in for about 5 seconds each
in sequence.

For the AM band, all of the preset stations
stored on the preset buttons 1 through 6 in
the AM band will be tuned in for about 5
seconds each in sequence.
While operating this function, the relevant
frequency and preset button number will
flash on the VFD.
After scanning all of the preset stations,
this function is automatically canceled and
the station you heard before operating this
function is tuned in.
When the desired station is tuned in, press
this button again or the corresponding pre-
set button to stop the scan function.

Scan:

To hear each station on the current wave
band, press the scan button for about 5
seconds.
Pressing a second time will cancel the
scan function. Scanning will continue until
you press the scan button a second time.
How to Preset Stations
6 stations on each band (FM1, FM2, AM)
can be stored into the 6 preset buttons.
Auto Store:
• Select the desired band using the AM/
FM selector button.
• Press the auto store button for more
than 2 seconds.
• Then, the strongest available stations
are automatically stored on the preset
buttons 1 through 6 in sequence.

INSTRUMENT PANEL
• After storing, all of the preset stations
are scanned in sequence for 5 seconds
each. Then, the station you heard before
operating the auto store function is auto-
matically tuned in.
• "AST" band will disappear if you press
the AM/FM button.
• If pressed for 2 seconds while traveling
to another area, the local stations will be
memorized automatically.
