Installation

Connecting to the Optical Network Terminator (ONT)

If necessary, connect to the ONT to the home coaxial network. This example shows connecting the ARRIS
ONT1000 model which does not have embedded Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA) technology.
Make sure the coaxial cabling on the customer premises is not connected to any
digital network or satellite dish.
Determine how to route the coaxial and Ethernet cables from the ONT into the home. You may need to move
an existing cable drop from its present location to where the ONT is mounted.
To connect to the ARRIS ONT1000, do the following:

5. Close the ONT door and secure the ONT.
