Introduction

Whole Home DVR Functionality

Integrated MoCA 1.1/2.0 hardware supporting IP streaming and two-way connectivity to as many as four
connected clients
DVR functionality integrated with the IPG enables all connected clients to do the following:
ο Pause, rewind, fast-forward, or record FiOS TV
ο Initiate program recordings and access the recordings library
ο Select programs to record across multiple channels and time slots
ο Rewind and replay recorded programs
ο Record multiple programs in the background while viewing another live program
Note: ARRIS cannot guarantee the exact amount of programming that each subscriber will be able to
record. The approximate time depends on the programming type and the encoding format used (see
below):

All times are approximate. The actual hours a subscriber can record are a function of program bit rate, the
IPG type, and the reserved buffer space.
