    Product Overview Media Server Configurations The VMS1100 is intended to operate in homes with two or more televisions or video output screens. In multi- screen households, the VMS1100 acts as a video services gateway, providing connectivity to the service provider’s network and handling subscription security, content decryption, channel tuning and program recording and playback capabilities for all the other screens connected to the home network.

    • If the VMS set-top is connected to a switched outlet on another unit, verify that that unit is powered on. Unplug the power cord from the VMS1100 AC outlet, plug it back it in, and then press the POWER button. It is recommended that you use an unswitched outlet, if possible.
