The universal protocol subsystem implements TCP protocol, UDP
protocol, IP protocol, ICMP protocol, ARP protocol, RARP protocol,
TFTP, FTP, HTTP, SNMP, and Telnet.
The broadband protocol subsystem modules are as follows:

Narrowband protocol subsystem includes V5 and H.248 for
PSTN/ISDN. It receives/transmits, processes calls and control
messages between users and ZXMSG 5200, and those between
ZXMSG 5200 and upper level Local Exchange (LE).
Service (call) Subsystem
Service subsystem operates according to protocol subsystem
commands.
The system functions are as follows:
Uniform service interfaces to upper layer
Shields hardware differences
Breaks down protocol commands to send to lower layer
