H.248 system is responsible for maintaining connection between
ZXMSG 5200 and SoftSwitch (SS), interpreting and executing SS
commands. H.248 describes service (CALL) and its operation
logically. The CALL implements following functions.
H.248 command execution
Physical operations on ZXMSG 5200 through bottom layer
drive software
Signal receiving and forwarding to the H.248 system
Operations maintenance and creation related with ZXMSG
5200 structure
Refer to System Description for the functions and operation flow
of the software modules.

Hardware Architecture

ZXMSG 5200 hardware system consists of a control unit and a
subscriber unit. The control unit implements system functions
and service access expansion unit implements expansion to
serve more subscribers.
Figure 3 shows the ZXMSG 5200 hardware structure.
