Bearer Subsystem

Bearer system resides in CPU of each hardware card. For
example, extended shelves TPU, ICS master processor 8250,
ICS slave processor 8031, 8240 chip of MPR and CPU of ADLG
card.
Bearer subsystem functions are as follows:
Detection of subscriber circuits
Subscriber circuit testing
Announcement play
DTMF digit receiving
ISDN subscribers message collection and forwarding
VOIP coding & decoding
2K switching network connection
ADSL subscriber configuration management
Specific function interfaces to the upper layer, so other
modules can invoke them.
Operation and Management
Subsystem
Operation and management subsystem supports the SNMP
management and CLI management. It provides inner interface
for the operation and maintenance platform. CLI management
includes telnet and console port management.
Operation and management subsystem performs following
management functions:
Basic Command: User management, system help, basic
information, system logs, etc.
System control: Shelf and card management, version
management, data and version download, data backup, data
synchronization etc.
Ethernet protocol: Port configuration, VLAN/GMRP/GVRP
management, multicast management, STP management,
trunk management etc
MPR management:
